TIPS AND TRICKS

To the Future Interns...

  1. Style-Try to keep a consistent style for your illustrations  if possible (Style chosen-realism)

  2. Medium-Photoshop and Procreate

  3. Font​-(Mutant Bamboo) (Size of Title 62, Size of facts and information size 30) (May vary though on illustration design) ​https://www.1001fonts.com/mutant-bamboo-font.html

  4. Layout of design-choose a consistent vertical or horizontal design throughout all your pieces. This makes it easier to present in your portfolio

  5. Alignment-try to make all of your illustration designs align in the same spot. When they are displayed side by side consistency looks more professional

  6. Mentors-Ask for help! Having a second or third opinion is always beneficial

  7. Time Management- Be mindful of your time! The semester goes by fast! Try to pace yourself.  Try to do weekly check ins with your advisor so they can see your progress.
