Layout of design-choose a consistent vertical or horizontal design throughout all your pieces. This makes it easier to present in your portfolio

Alignment-try to make all of your illustration designs align in the same spot. When they are displayed side by side consistency looks more professional

Mentors-Ask for help! Having a second or third opinion is always beneficial

Time Management- Be mindful of your time! The semester goes by fast! Try to pace yourself. Try to do weekly check ins with your advisor so they can see your progress.
